Worth a visit if you're a DJ fan

This was about my 5th visit and I usually drop by if I'm holidaying in Qld. It has a great workshop, a few cars and some old stuff from Dick's racing history. I think I was... read more

We visited Dick Johnson/ Penscke workshop and museum and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are a couple of the older cars which have been raced over the years. One current race Falcon, lots of photos and THE ROCK, with an article explaining the story about THE ROCK for those not old enough to remember the significant soft THE ROCK. Unfortunately the... This was about my 5th visit and I usually drop by if I'm holidaying in Qld. It has a great workshop, a few cars and some old stuff from Dick's racing history. I think I was expecting more now that Roger Penske is involved and anyone who's been to the Arizona Penske car dealership and small museum would know what... More

Was lucky to actually meet Dick Johnson and have a photo taken with him. Awesome, as he has always been a hero to me. He is an inspiration having always shown that with determination you can get through the hard times.

Would not bother. Not a lot there and not one person spoke to us. Drove from Broadbeach and was excited to go the biggest let down ever. I was a DJ fan!!!

Came on a day when the tours were not running, but it is great they are still open. Its 2 minutes from the main highway connecting Brisbane and the Gold Coast, so it is a great place to take a quick break. They have several cars on display which rotate over time, and a good range of merchandise available. Car... More

I'm a DJR fan, the workshop tour was very poor, the person conducting the tour had very little knowledge of DJR and the workshop etc. We saw Dick and he couldn't even be bothered waving to the paying visitors, let alone say hello. The musuem is worth a look, but poorly kept. We ordered a coffee and they reply was... More

We found the museum interesting, but especially the workshop tour, was well worth the time and entrance fee. The young chap who conducted the tour was very knowledgeable and does a good job. We were also lucky enough to see the man himself - Dick Johnson.

Dick is a legend and though I am not a "Rev Head" took my brother in law here with nephew who were both in LaLa Land. Very well presented and I did find it very interesting with a touch of nostalgia.
