"Quiet beach great for swim and surf"

We visit the area quite regularly , it's a quiet and a safe beach for the whole family. Great to spend the day and enjoy the food at the surf club!

I can recall Kirra Beach being 200 metres wide. Alas, that isn't the case now. The surf lifesaving club is a shadow of its former self too. However, the grassy promenade has improved greatly, and makes a nice walk. There are a couple of good cafes along the front too, but they suffer from being right on the traffic.

I lived on Surfers Paradise Beach at Northcliffe for 8 months and I loved it but it can be hectic and the water is pretty aggressive. Kirra is far and away my favourite beach on the Gold Coast! It is so calm and the waves are so gentle compared to Surfers. Beautiful sunsets, can watch surfers go in and out,... More

Fabulous promenade that starts north of Kirra but goes all the way to Tweed Heads that you can walk, skate, segway, bike or, heaven forbid, run! All the while taking in the seaviews of surfers, paddle boarders, paddlers & waves. Family friendly with strategic seating, barbies, play areas, koala sculptures, toilets & carparks. Numerous surf clubs are conveniently located beach side... More

An awesome place to sit and relax with the crisp wind blowing watching the world go by. Take a seat at the lifesaving club and take in the views.

Great beach pools in summer worth a visit for the family. I there is good surf and lots of sand. Even a walk through the rocks is good.

A really cool beach, less crowded than others, and in a quiet area. Surf looks decent too. Good place to just chill with friends or family.

This beach is connected to Coolangatta beach, which is a very beautiful part of Australia. This beach tends to be windier than the other beach and the beach itself is not as wide as Coolangatta or Greenmount Point. Across the road you will find many restaurants and takeaway places. Amenities are excellent with wide foot paths.
