We had a great day relaxing, swimming and passing the time on Kirra Beach. There is a sand bar protecting the shore providing a great paddling area. The other side of the bar is an on shore break. Fine for body surfing. A lovely day....More

Very nice beach with a lot of holiday homes, other accomodations, cafés, restaurants and a good path for cycling along the beach connecting to beaches to the north and south. Go via Coolangata beach to Ponint Danger and further on to Duranbah Beach famous for...More

Visited on Monday 4th February. Kirra Beach always looks so inviting whenever we visit there. Plenty of parking if you don't mind a short walk to the beach.

Kirra Beach is beautiful and a great place for a dip, walk along the beach or to watch the surfers on their board. Not as busy as Surfers Paradise. Great if you like something a little quieter. Eateries and shops are within walking distance so...More

Loved our stay here! Beach is super clean and family friendly. Did have to stay out of the water a couple of days because of bluebottles but that’s nature :)

We went for a walk this morning, Sunday, along the beach front and sat on the beach for a while. The atmosphere was relaxing and with a coffee shop and the surf club selling bacon and egg rolls everything was catered.

Kirra beach is an awesome spot for the family to swim. It is well protected by Kirra Groin sling with the life guards. It is a short stroll across the sand to the water’s edge. Amenities are close by along with a coffee shop and...More

Personally I don't like to stay in Surfers Paradise as much, it's way too over-crowded and touristy and like Andrew said, the beach is just average anyway. Kirra is much nicer. Also, just to throw it in there, I find... More
