Great place to visit, we found it to be very relaxing at that time of year. The markets on the third Sunday of the month were very good.

Comparatively less developed than it is further up, the Coolangatta and Kirra area up to as far as Burleigh is the best place to visit on the Gold Coast. Coolangatta Beach and Point Danger are beautiful, and you get a great view of Surfers in the distance.

We stayed at an apartment complex right on Marine Parade with views over Coolangatta Beach. Beautiful beachside town with a more low key quiet vibe than Broadbeach or Surfers. The beach is clean, pristine and just heaven! Lots of cafes and shops close by as well as playgrounds and parks. We will be back to stay at "Cooly" as the... More

This beach is parallel to Marine Parade where there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, take-a-ways and shops. There is also the surf club and a pub. The beach itself is cleaned every morning and has a life guard on duty from 8-5 daily. The waves must be ok as there are always surf board riders in their area of... More

The beach is great as there are not too many people around, yet shops, cafes and others are right there. It is a wonderful place to just sit or swim.

A stunning beach only let down by the lack of cafe's/bars/shops to obtain drinks/ice creams. Certainly worth a visit and a stroll on the very fine sand.

Great long paths to go for a long big. Very popular surf spot. Great for people watching with many spots for coffee, beers and food. Picture prefect on a clear day.

This is a wonderfully invigorating and healing stretch of ocean. Swimming in this beautiful water cleared away the cobwebs and the general vibe of the place is very relaxing and friendly.

Beautiful place to visit with beautiful beaches and an abundance of restaurants to choose from. If restaurants are not what you want there is a Woolworths & Aldi to buy your own and cook for yourself. Well worth a stay with plenty to do for young and old.
