Never in my time diving, have I had a trip cancelled two hours before the we were supposed to meet until now. One of my friends (who was on my trip) had previously booked a dive trip two weeks before with Cooly Dive and had her trip canceled hours before the meeting time; so this was the second time for... You leave Brisbane and eagerly wait with anticipation for your trip to Cook island only to arrive at the dive shop and note an SMS sent 20 mins prior advising that the trip has been cancelled due to a boat race hampering proceedings during a trip made by the boat earlier that day. Not sure how a single incldent can... More

I signed up to do a double dive out on Turtle Island with Cooly Dive a day or two before I wanted to go and was really pleased with the choice. Usually I travel with my own gear but this time I needed to hire a full kit, and the quality and condition was great. The boat leaves from nearby... More

Did my SSI open water dive license with Cooly Dive. Safety was their first priority and to me this is most important. We did our dive skills in the pool which was great and of course the online theory stuff. The next 2 days I went were the open water dives at Cook Island (also known as Turtle Island) out... More

My son completed his Open Water Dive Course through SSI at Cooly Dive. It was a great experience, provided by a friendly and knowledgeable team, with excellent facilities. My son's instructor Nathan, provided excellent attention and encouragement for his dive course from the pool to the sea dives. The course theory is largely presented online at your own pace and... My sister and I booked this before flying out to Oz and we were greeted by friendly, professional staff that take care of their customers, and that make effort to know you on a personal level. Snorkelling was unstructured, which gave you freedom to explore (with some guidelines), to which we saw an array of wildlife. The star of the... More

We went snorkelling through Cooly dive on Oct 5th 2015. Our friend was gifted a voucher and he needed people to go with so we went. It was a gorgeous day and most of the people on the boat were scuba diving. We did the afternoon dive at 12pm and I was so glad we did as on the way... More

The staff were really helpful and a lot of fun! They made the day so much more relaxed and enjoyable. I had a great first scuba diving experience out at cook island, and even in August the wetsuits kept us nice and toasty. The dive itself only goes for 30-40mins but you have a whole afternoon out on the water... More

I was not sure what to expect snorkelling on the Gold Coast but was pleasantly surprised with this trip. My biggest concern was staying warm but the wet suits provided kept you warm, even in the Winter water temperature. The boat trip out to Cook Island was fast and the crew were friendly and diligent on safety regulations. In the... More
