Amazing surf and views

A visit to the Gold Coast is not complete unless you check out this iconic place... I can just sit on the beach for hours watching the view and the surfers do their thing.

snappers rocks is the sight of a stop on the world surfing tour, and so means you can be in the line up with top ten surfers at certain times of the year. The rest of the time it is the most consistant wave on the gold coast. Easy access to the break and a permanant sand build up make... More

Snapper rocks surf club is the place to eat. The staff is very helpful. The view from the veranda is breathtaking especially when you see the whales. The walk around snapper rocks is very enjoyable as well.

Very friendly beach. Mythical surf spot. In March it gets busy with an international surf competition. Beach for everyone - surfer or not. Usually crowded in the weekend. Many options to eat around. Lifesavers on duty all year around.

Many wonderful experiences in this spot. Coolangatta in general is a great part from Gold Coast. Snapper rocks, more than a perfect spot for surfers to run into the surf champions!. Also a great place to watch the whales during the season. You can see the whales and dolphins jumping and swimming close to you while you surf or swim.... More

While staying in Coolangatta, we stumbled on Snapper Rocks / Point Danger right at the back-end of our holiday. This place is a true 'surfer's paradise' & is the starting point of the world-renowned Superbank (I've since done my research). The natural beauty here is raw, powerful & captivating. As a bonus, the adjacent beach at Rainbow Bay is a... More

Even on a poor day Snapper is a sweet place to be. On a good day some of the best surf in Oz is here. So are manny, many surfers, watchers, photographers and locals jammed into only a few hundred square metres. Good manners are valued.
