this is a small gallery run by passionate people. The museum has a lending library of a large range of art books in conjunction with the library. During my stay they had two very interesting exhibits focusing on the local/regional: Found! Studio Dog, with most of the art pieces tied to man's (and woman's) best friend in a time of isolation and the other exhibit a history of the two iconic bridges of the town: the Burnett and Kennedy bridges built in the late 19th century.

Definitely a place you need to stop and check out.
Rebecca (Gallery Director) has a keen eye and has curated some amazing exhibitions.
Currently, they have a exhibition from secondary students and it was beyond. The talent and emotions in the pieces made it hard to believe the age of these artists. Truly astonishing.
Aside from the art the staff are some of the friendliest I have met (especially Sandy). They not only know everything about gallery but also Bundaberg and the surrounding area. This knowledge really enriched our road trip.

Yes, I did ask permission before I took the photos =D

Undersold in the Bundaberg brochures this is a little gem. Lovely old building, we were greeted be a friendly and knowledgeable person in the front desk who gave us good information about the exhibits. These were of a high standard. Well set out shop with local artist products at reasonable prices.

I always visit local galleries when possible. Thus one is easy to access and has a heritage location. Friendly staff/volunteers and good gift shop of local crafts

This place "BRAG" is constantly changing their exhibits to give both locals and visitors a real taste of culture.

Manned by volunteers who have a really good understanding and knowledge of what is on display is great.

I try to go here whenever in town with my mother, sadly, there are generally not enough seating options for the frail, so a few chairs thrown around the place would be good.
Also, many of the exhibits are upstairs = quite narrow staircase, and the frail cannot manage to get up there.
I didn't ask, but do these exhibits ever get displayed downstairs so that the frail don't miss out?

I love visiting BRAG & if you are a visitor to Bundaberg have a look around...if you are a local and haven't been for a while the current exhibitions are excellent. They have a small gift shop with gifts with a local flavour and very helpful staff and volunteers. Probably an hour will be enough.

We visited the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery to see the Anne Frank Exhibition and were extremely impressed with the exhibition. The other areas of the Gallery were also well maintained and held very interesting Exhibitions. The staff member was well presented, helpful and very pleasant to all comers to the gallery.

We checked out the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery a couple of weeks ago as part of our time in Bundaberg on our drive around Australia. It’s a great little gallery that can fill an hour or two depending on how the subject grabs you, the Anne Frank exhibit was beautiful but a bit eerie as we know how that ends. The Unfolding rhythms one about the plants was interesting although I don’t claim to fully understand but that is why we have these things so we can learn. Great gallery, great exhibits and collection, check it out.
