This museum has bikes to make you droll. Think Norton Commando, Ducati, MV Augusta, Leverda etc plus a few interesting trials bikes like Ossa and Montessa. The bloke running the place was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are a current or past biker with 30 mins or so to spend find time to drop in, it is well worth it.

I’m just a mild motorcycle enthusiast. Walked in and discovered it was more than a collection of pristine motorcycles, but a staff member (Craig) whose enthusiasm and knowledge was half the joy of my hour or so visit. The time in the retail section was enjoyable, with a good selection of things. I understand while the shop has 60 bikes, there’s 100 more in storage. So I’m assuming they’ll get cycled in a few at a time. Which will make for repeat visits, and hopefully Craig will be around. So, I highly recommend a visit.

enjoyed our visit to the bike museum. Bill really knows his bikes and we spent an enjoyable hour or so chatting, not only about bikes but all sorts of things. The bikes are beautiful and pristine. it’s an impressive historical collection. Thanks Bill, the owner and all the people who restore and preserve this great collection.

It is so nice to know you enjoyed the experience from viewing the bikes (all in concourse condition) to chatting with our friendly volunteer Bill. Upon entering and paying the 20 cash dollar fee for viewing the bikes, the attendant asked if we would like to know anything about the display, I was only there to observe and had no wish to be "educated".. so i said no thanks, im ok, just want to look around.. The attendant then suggessted that "oh you know everything then?" my wife suggested to him that "he knows his way around a few bikes, in the hope he would leave us in peace to view the display.

Hoping to show my son, daughter and wife the examples of many motorcycles I have previously owned, maintained and loved..

But oh no.. he continued with a barrage of stupid remarks and questions as to my knowledge of motorcycles.. I continued quietly as my wife and I remained gobsmacked at the approach and demeanour of this drip.

Eventually after maybe 10 minutes we left, but not after being further embarassed or demeanoured by this idiot.. who challenged me to suggest how to get a motorcycle onto the upstairs floor, and if I could then he'd show me the upstairs floor.. of which there is none.

I have never been treated with such contempt by someone i never met, or for that matter, been familiar with,.. and as this was our first tourism experience in tamworth, it completely ruined the positive attitude we had toward visiting the area.

Unbelieveable.

Awesome collection of new & classic bikes, Noel was friendly, dedicated & certainly knew his bikes. We got a personal tour with Noel sharing some interesting stories about the collection, brought back memories of my childhood.
There is a brand new electric Harley & the "Blood Orange" coloured Harley seen in the forefront of the picture deserves a closer look, souvenir shop is well stocked with shirts, memorabilia & patches to add to your jackets.

What a tremendous review about your recent time spent with our guide Noel, a true motorbike tragic, in the Museum. We are so pleased you were able to revisit some of your fond childhood memories when looking at the collection (trust us this does happen a lot!). Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with other visitors to Tamworth - we appreciate it!

As a lover of all things motorcycle, it was a pleasant escape from a rainy afternoon on our way through Tamworth to spend some time with Noel who was on duty. A varied collection of desirable machines over the eras on display, some of which I owned, once...

A short walk from several motels/hotels and only $8 entry ($6 for seniors). Bikes are all in superb condition plus a newly acquired 1925 Harley Davidson that was used for mail deliveries in the area- it was rescued from a shed where it had been sitting for 50 years and will not be restored. Defintely worth an hour or so if you are in the area

Definitely worth a visit. I’m not exactly a motor cycle buff but found it really interesting. Details accompanying each exhibit were really informative and the volunteer worker was also a mine of information. Sadly I didn’t get his name but we certainly had a good chat.

Not the biggest motorcycle museum on earth but one of the nicest. Friendly guide to answer all your queries and there are some unique bikes here. Enthusiasts will love some rare examples of the rotary engined Suzuki RE5 and other interesting machines. Sop in for a coffee and a chat.
