Personally I was surprised there was very little on Australian artists including the iconic Slim Dusty. Venue is located near Hungary Jacks on Peel... More

This exhibition is really well displayed, especially with all the cabinet displays, lighting and audio. We enjoyed the old footage of entertainers through to the current era of musicians. The volunteers here do a marvellous job.

I'm no country music fan but really enjoyed the museum. I wish we'd had more time. This museum is run by volunteers and deserves a visit. My only complaint is that it was hard to find. It could benefit from some more directional signage.

A must see attraction in Tamworth, there are genuine artefacts. Be sure to allow a couple of hours, and is recommended you go early in the day before it gets too busy

Don't go looking for this attraction at this address as it's not here, nor is the Visitor's Centre. We found the Visitor's Centre near the corner of The Ringers Road and the New England Highway. We didn't find this museum there either but a couple of other exhibitions which were $10 each per adult and $8 for those with a... More

Staffed by volunteers. An excellent array into country music. You will learn alot about country music as it compliments the Golden Guitar.
