Unfortunately the weather was not permitting to look through the microscope, but we had a very fun and educational talk from the guy that worked there. It’s a small place but worth a visit.

If you are lucky enough to have numbers to open on the night you go it's interesting. Take the kids and have a look at the moon up close. Great value

Seems to attract a good crowd and seems well cared for by awesome volunteers. Let's raise money for this lovely observatory to arrange more comfortable seating. I LOVE it that they bring in aboriginal knowledge. I wish more Australian businesses and government would follow the...More

We arrived on a cloudy night, so the telescope viewing was not available. However, the presentation and chat from Mike on Mars was very interesting and informative. I must admit I’m not that into astronomy, but I was absorbed in the chat.

This place is a hidden gem run by very passionate volunteers. It was great to get an understanding of the solar system and be able to ask lots of questions.

We went along to the observatory to see how it worked, talk to the local staff and volunteers. It was well worth the look through the telescope at the moon. Very spectacular!
