Go back in time and board the Chinese Junk which is an altogether different experience - she is a vintage authentic Chinese junk and an extremely comfortable boat. Be lulled on one of their two hour trips and enjoy either a yummy morning tea scenic cruise, a tasty fish & chip lunch cruise or a spectacular sunset cruise. Take in the sights of the picturesque river while listening to the informative commentary, and be sure to keep an eye out for dolphins which are spotted on most trips. With experienced friendly and knowledgeable staff, they are sure to make your river cruise a memorable occasion."

We had a very enjoyable afternoon cruise on the boat. It was a beautiful day and Ginny was a friendly and informative host. We were lucky enough to see two pods of dolphins and they swam right next to the boat which was fantastic. Afternoon tea was provided and it was two hours well spent on the Hastings River.

My second time on the Junk and it is still scruffy and run down and very cramped. Pleasant being on the water cruising up and down for two hours but very difficult to eat and drink as there is no room at all for that. T.he boat needs a good clean.

What a great time. We were able to see a pod of dolphins & the skipper traveled us next to them for ages. The skipper was informative, friendly & enjoyed a laugh. Our kids 6,5 & 18 months we're all able to steer the boat. The dinner was fresh & filling. Is the best boat ride we've had as a... More

Had a great time on the Chinese Junk. My daughter got to steer the boat, she loved it. Seating was very comfortable and tea and coffee was on board. We took the lunch cruise. Food was lovely we had the grilled fish and chips. We did two cruises, this was definitely our favourite. Definitely recommend.

I now been on The Junk eight times and can honestly say have never been disappointed. The cruise provides an opportunity to showcase Port Macquarie ....its water ways, marine life, especially the Dolphins and bird life are just some examples. The informative, interesting and sometimes hilarious tour guide ( Sean)is sheer entertainment throughout the two hour cruise. Sunset is the... More

We booked this sunset cruise a bit last minute. Booking staff were friendly and courteous. Our skipper was friendly and informative. The cruise was extremely comfortable and the boat had no steps making access easy, except if you needed to use the bathroom which was down very steep stairs, as you would expect on a boat. Easy for us, but... More

no self respecting chinese family would call this junk home, it is in need of lots of minor maintenance, bits of timber missing and need good cleanup. The skipper spoke to the people in the rear of the boat so those of us in the front seats heard nothing, and perhaps a loud speaker systerm would have been of advantage,... More
