Unfortunately it was raining and due to lightening there was no boom netting ride which wasn,t their fault but the commentary was very minimal and as people were downstairs talking it was hard to hear.I was expecting lots of information and personality but it was quite boring.Ive been on river cruises elsewhere and they were very entertaining but without boom... The first thing I have to say is that for the first time in 6 days at Port Macquarie, we were greeted as " folks" rather than "guys". At last, some professionalism in North Coast tourism! Now, the trip was most enjoyable. The boat was comfortable and we had plenty of choices of seats. Had a long and pleasant encounter... More

This was a great cruise and staff very friendly. We sat downstairs and were told that there was going to be a band playing but if there was upstairs we could not hear it. Also advised there would be commentary but again if there was we could not hear it. But overall we had a very pleasant cruise, joined another... More

We did the Friday champagne breakfast/Cassegrain Winery tour. Best value. Just fantastic. Champagne breakfast with freshest finger sandwiches, ham and cheese croissant, profiterole, Lamington and if you're feeling healthy muesli crunch with berry yoghourt topped of with champagne and tea/coffee. Having driven down for the cruise from Arakoon I was hungry ... I ate the lot so gorgeous. The 2... More

We did the 2 hour Cruise with Devonshire Tea. The scones were probably the best scones I have ever eaten. We were very lucky as we saw dolphins and they played an swam right up to the boat. The river is beautiful and clean. The Cruise was very informative. There was a boom net but it wasn't put down on... More

We went wahle watching and not only was the staff excellent expecially the tour guy Sean the whole experience was the best one I have ever had! We were "mugged" by a mother and her calf. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The two hour barbecue lunch we took up the Hastings River was very relaxing on a lovely warm day. The skipper did a great commentary without being intrusive. Deckhand Oliver was a star, running around helping everyone and cooking the barbecue. We saw lots of dolphins, and even a stingray. There was a variety of birds too. If you love... More

Had an fantastic time on the River Princess (Port Venture) yesterday for the Melbourne Cup cruise. The food was amazing with nice cold fresh prawns, ham, hot chickens and lots of beautiful salads and fresh rolls to choose from. We enjoyed plenty of cocktails on board and had a complimentary drink on arrival. The staff were very helpful and friendly.... More

Beautiful cruise, dolphins seen on most cruises but the boat is very old and dated, inside and out, uncomfortable to cruise in,plus also needs a bigger boat for going outside whale watching, not an oversize bathtub. The whole operation needs a better vessel like the previous (not original) Port Venture, which could also go out whale watching. Staff fantastic
