Family of 5 with younger kids really enjoyed the close up of the animals. Being able to pat the koalas, feed the kangaroos & touch a dingo, see amazing birds & crocodile close up. Even in the drizzling rain, we were able do everything. Our 18 month old loved being able to feed & touch the kangaroos. Well worth the... More

It has been a few years since we've been here and wow has it changed! A lot more animals to see and such a variety! The kangaroos were our daughters favourite - feeding one with a tiny joey in it's pouch. So cute. Such a great experience!

It had been 25 years since my last visit to this animal park and zoo. I couldn't believe the difference. Generous space for most animals and much money had been spent on " enclosures". Koala photo opportunity was excellent as day was quiet and overcast. 7 y.o.grandson and 18 month old granddaughter were delighted.

Great day out of Port Macquarie. Lovely tropical gardens and surrounds. It appears that the animals are well cared for.

This is a great little place to have a day out . Although there isnt a large amount of animals it is more than enough to keep you interested. The staff are welcoming and the talks are interesting. If your ever in Port be sure to vist.

Everything a great Aussie bush zoo should be. What they lack in big money exhibits, they make up for in personality. Up close experiences with koalas, kangaroos and dingoes. No extra charge, and (unlike many zoos and aquariums Ive visited, you can take your own pics for free) Highlights we're the massive croc and baby lion cubs. Easy half day... More

A small wildlife zoo, has beautiful landscaping and some lovely inclosures, some were on the small side though. It only took an hour and half to get around the zoo (at a very slow pace). The kids loved it as they got to take a photo next to a Koala.

Spent a half of a day there, originally planned hour, but we were nicely surprised. You can feed the kangaroos there from the hand, what is for us europeans experience number one. Good was that those Kangaroos there were active and happy to get a food from us(later we have beeen to ANOTHER ZOO and those kangaroos were totally resignated).... More

Was a good zoo but very over priced for what you get shouldn't have to pay for kids under 5 but sadly you do ... cheaper to go to Dubbo zoo
