A special treat for a friend today. We havebeen to Billabong several times and found it a great little wildlife park and my friend was very taken with the snow leopards. So this was a special treat - an Encounter with the Snow Leopards. (One must book beforehand). We were escorted to their enclosure and given a tour of the... More

This park certainly had a more relaxed/ personal/ rustic feel to it than others we visited during our holiday in Australia- and this is certainly no bad thing. We were the first visitors to the park that morning and seemed to have the run of it for the first half hour. The park has attractive grounds and the animals are... More

If people can get past that it is not a huge zoo , with every creature great and small and appreciate it for what it is instead of what it isnt, I am sure you will have a great time. Being smaller, it allows a more intimate view of things than a much larger zoo can.

If you are in port this is something that should be done with or without children. Very reasonable prices and I held a snake here for $10. The animals had reasonable sized enclosures and the croc was a highlight.

What a lovely little wildlife park! got to watch the croc being feed. Staff were super helpful, we only had a very small amount of time and they organised a snake holding out of the usual times for us! Got to pat a koala and feed the wallabies! So nice to be able to interact with the animals. Great price... More

Ok, I admit it, I do love a zoo and on our recent trip I conned my Partner into going to the Billabong Koala & Wildlife Park. I didn't hold high expectations but I can say that we were pleasantly surprised! What a great little zoo, well, it's not that little and very well laid out. We managed to catch... More

All of Australia's unique animals in natural surroundings, many open to the public to walk through and get close to the animals. Knowledgeable presentations about animals Highly recommend to visitors and locals

It doesn't look like its changed since its opening. The park is small and a bit smelly. Dont go when it's raining as there is very little in the way of covered walk ways or sealed paths. $28.50 per adult felt like a rip off for the size of the park

We never saw real Kangaroo before and this was a chace to see different animals in Australia especial Kangaroos, Wallabies and some big birds (I don't know their names). I like this zoo cause you could feed Kangaroos or Wallabies. Another fun thing is after Koala show arranger will bring Koala to let you touch it. So soft of Koala.... More

We went on a weekday and there were only a handful of visitors. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. The highlight was feeding the kangaroos. Great to have an up close experience. We didn't eat there because the cafe smelt of deep fryers and the menu reflected that. Overall a great experience !
