We went with six friends and enjoyed a lovely afternoon. We all received a generous cheese plate to accompany our wines. The tasting room has beautiful views over the vines and the Hunter Valley. The wines were first class and included a number of varieties. The tasting included six wines but we were invited to taste other wines on the list…. And we did! Eve our hostess was friendly, informative and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend joining the wine club as tastings are free for members and two guests and wines prices are well discounted. Our friends were equally impressed! Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Scarborough wines are spectacular and their wine tasting experience is excellent. The wines were explained well, questions were encouraged and answered well. With each person booked in for tasting, there was a small cheese and biscuit platter - more than sufficient and very much appreciated to have a biscuit & cheese between wines. The view is also fabulous! Will always go back for tasting when we are in the Hunter region

We have like Scarborough wines, in particular the Chardonnay for some time but this was our first visit to the Hunter Valley wine region. We visited many nice wineries and restaurants but the Chardonnay Lovers wine tasting experience was by far the top of our list. An extremely personalised experience in a private room, extremely friendly and knowledgable host and a lovely cheese platter and wines. as a club member not only do we get a discount on our wines, the wine tasting experience was free for us and our friends. Highly recommended!!!

This winery is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views over the vineyards. We had pre booked our tasting and when we arrived our table was ready for us right by the window. Each wine was served in a fresh glass and there was a cheese platter to compliment the wines. The staff were all very friendly, really knew their wines and you could tell that they were passionate about their products. Scarborough is well known for the fantastic Chardonnay that they produce but we also really liked their Obsessive Shiraz , and to be honest couldn’t fault any of the 6 wines that we tasted. All in all I would say that this is a winery not to be missed if you are in the Hunter Valley .

We had a private tasting of Chardonnay wines in a room overlooking the vineyard accompanied by a delicious cheese platter. Our hostess was knowledgeable, and we enjoyed not only the wines but the engaging conversation. As members our tasting was without charge and were gifted 2 free bottles on purchasing a case of wine.

My wife and I had not been to the Hunter for a few years, we decided on the half hour wine tasting (6 Chardonnays) booked via the Scarborough winery web site. The wines were excellent, Scarborough is rightly renowned for its chardonnay, we were impressed with the selection sampled and the chesses provided to accompany the wines. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We did the “Keepers of the Flame” experience with a group of friends. It was an experience we won’t forget. We started with a mini tour of the vineyard with Sally who is part of the second generation of Scarboroughs. So she was able to give us the background on what makes Scarborough (in our opinion) one of the best vineyards in the Hunter. We then moved on to the tasting and were hosted by Eve in our own room. We enjoyed tasting the different Chardonnays as well as some other varietals. It was a great way to spend an hour and half and the only bad thing was the time went too quickly.

A family bus tour of 14 adults & 5 children. Scarborough’s elevated location affords it lovely views of the surrounding Hunter Valley countryside. A beautiful large grassy area with activities provided kept the children occupied. Adults sat just inside, a lovely air conditioned tasting room, where we could watch children while tasting. The cheese plates provided were delicious & the wines very palatable. Would highly recommend & be sure to book in advance 😉

When you first arrive you are blown away about the beauty and scenery and gorgeous kept grounds. We arrived very early and they were only too happy to set us up, and I might add a whole hour early. We even had a room to ourselves, which we felt very spoilt. The tasting was amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable about all the wines and we came away with soo many yummy goodies. Such a lovely little family owned winery and my cousins favourite wine so she knew it well and even has a new favourite that she didn't even know existed. Money well spent for her Christmas present.

Great winery. Lovely grounds with roaming kangaroos. Lil was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting experience was a delight. Definitely worth doing. We have different tastes in wine so did different wine tasting experiences. Loved that we were in a private room. Would definitely recommend.
