A lovely shop with equally lovely cheeses but staffed laregly by people who have no idea about customer service. We were berated multiple times for not standing in the right place, using the wrong table and having our children play on the grass. The food itself was delicious, highly recommend both the Ploughman's platter and the bruschetta. Next time, it'd be nice to feel like we weren't intruders but rather welcome guests. And lose the "we're so busy" attitude too, it really takes away from an otherwise lovely outdoor dining experience.

This is a great dairy. Love the cheeses especially the brie and cheddar. Also they make great apple and rosemary paste - yummy. Every time we visit the Hunter Valley we visit to pick up the cheeses and paste and try other varieties.

Say Cheese!!!

Had the pleasure of visiting this terrific place in early Jan 2020.

We enjoyed some sampling of their cheeses before we Sat down and enjoyed a cheese platter with a cold beer and wine.

We also purchased a few of their cheeses and pastes for home.

I must say that the range was vast and the taste and quantity was amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and absolutely recommend putting this one on the list of places to visit when in the Hunter Valley region.

Came as part of a wine tour.
We had a large group but staff handled efficiently.
Great selection to taste - 8-9 different cheeses. Liked them all.
Decent prices - everyone in our group purchased a few varieties.
Definitely worth the visit.

Delicious cheeses- the tasting set allows you to try 8 or more cheeses, all quite different from each other. they have a little cafe/ bar too.
Fairly small establishment but a good range of cheese on offer. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great cheese tasting at Binnorie Dairy, with a lady who was very knowledgeable about the cheese, and who was also professional and friendly.
The cheese was beautiful. We went down the menu of cheeses, so not all flavours appealed to all of us, but it was still great to experience and taste the varieties.
Also a lot of other deli, sauce, relish and gift options on display - available for purchase.
We did not stay for the cafe, but had some great indoor and outdoor seating.

Pleasant staff and a great range of soft cheeses to taste (about 12) and buy. Extremely nice cheeses as are their lemonade scones and coffee. Nice setting, no pressure to buy. Enjoy a visit.

Walked in stood for a while. Finally the guy got up off his seat. Stood there waiting .. well aren't you going to offer anything to try. ? Sorry couldn't get a good vibe. Not sure if this was a shop with cheeses for tasting or just a display

Went elsewhere

Great goats cheese. We bought the camembert (the normal and the one that is soaked in brine) and the ash ones and the biscuits. It was delicious and we had this for NYE in Sydney with the harbour as the back drop. Simply divine. Well priced and simply divine.

I lived in the Hunter my entire life and during this time l have always recommended Binnorie Dairy. I have recommended Binnorie Dairy over several other gourmet producers, some of which are 100% local producers and quite competitive.

I visited Binnorie Dairy recently to stock up for New Years Eve, l was greeted with a frown and a final "well, what do you want!?" I had been in the shop for no more than three minutes. I felt as if l was a nuisance.

I have never experienced such awful customer service. It is unfortunate that a business so reliant upon good, friendly service, be so obnoxious in their delivery.

Yes, the cheese is delicious and the best in the Hunter, however if this particular person continues to treat customers with such disregard, l fear for Binnorie Dairy's reputation.
Please inject the passion that is obvious in your cheese-making, into your customer service.
