Some interesting shops

Called in to purchase some wine, beer and cider. An interesting and diverse selection available. Other shops offered quality items.

The Hunter Valley Gardens is a must see when visiting the Hunter Valley, especially in spring and summer. The gardens are well groomed and maintained with an excellent variety of flowers, shrubs and trees. The Story book Garden will keep the kids entertained for hours.

The gardens are lovely at any time of year and well worth a visit. On the down side, the entrance price is high ($56 for 2 people) and the cafe is underwhelming.

A great location to take the family for a day out. Wine tasting, shopping, gardens, aqua golf, play areas, bbqs and restaurants. Hunter Valley Gardens has something for everyone

Satisfying only if you are looking for a lot of roses and twee themes to titillate the youngest members of the family (that is, under 6 years). The most perplexing section of this garden-theme-park is the collection of awful statues of the... More

Not worth the entry fee. ($28.00 per adult) Somewhat interesting. Tourists trap. Definitely very dull during winter since everything is not in season.

These gardens were fantastic. I loved the storybook garden it had statues of all your favourite kid stories. Although it is $28 entry I feel it is definitely worth the money and should not be missed.
