We had a wedding and it was great to see how much work had gone in to the gardens. We loved the waterfalls and the fish.

Couldn't have had a better day. From the rubber tyred train with excellent commentary to the Irish Pub, the Hunter Valley Gardens were a highlight of our travels to the Hunter Region. The Gardens are beautifully kept and the walking paths well designed. We took...More

HVG is a magical place that offers so much beyond manicured gardens. There are a number of themed areas such as the Rose Garden, the Japanese garden area and the Alice in Wonderland area within the magical Story Book gardens. Whilst the gardens are lovely...More

Great day out, beautiful different gardens, little village attached with shops and eateries, wine tasting, lovely chapel where weddings are held, spent the whole day there the only negative is there are no signposts throughout the gardens to tell you where the different gardens are...More

We walked around in the morning because we had younger children. You could take a lot longer. There are a couple of theme park style rides on the side as well if it is open. That was closed when we were there. Also quite... More
