The dish can be seen from miles away! The information centre and science centre is well worth detouring to. Great fun inside and out with plenty of space related information and interactive displays.

Just loved sitting with a great coffee, watching this amazing thing slowly and quietly move as needed. Brings a feeling of awe and amazement. Interesting and educational. Would have loved to play a game of cricket though!!

Guess this is a must see if you are in the area. Space information is pretty overwhelming but interesting, not far from the highway so call in

Always worthwhile stopping in places that are part of our history, particularly positive ones. Even if you don't do the tour it's something just to stand near it and know the story. The small dishes out the front for chatting are fun too.

Out of town about 10 minutes it's worth the drive out to see. Free if you don't want to watch the movie plus it's educational. Definitely a must do and it doesn't take long!

Hi Not aware of day tours from Parkes to the CSIRO facility. taxi would be quite expensive both ways, best to try and Hire Car for half day.
