Only in Newcastle for the day, visiting by ship. Went for walk in typical Aussie warm weather and following some general site seeing we discovered this great beach. Plenty of facilities for all the family.

We're blessed to have a beach like this just a short scenic stroll from our city centre; golden sands, a nice swell, great facilities, and free parking.

Nobbys is lovely, I enjoy walking along the break wall then walking back along the beach. It is popular and can be hard to get a park It can also be quite seaweed-y and as an open ocean beach, at times rough
