There's something peculiar about this place. I can't tell if it's because there's the old Victorian era sea baths adjacent to the sea baths built in the 30s. Either way the Art Deco sea baths are beautiful. A must do on your visit to Newcastle....More

I have spent many hours down here and seen it in many and varied moods, from tranquil early mornings to the insanity of the storm that grounded the Pasha Bulker where it was spectacularly dangerous. All that aside it is a great place to swim...More

Located on the very front of Newcastle beach the baths are salt water and in big storms can be quite exciting with the waves pounding on the rocks close by.

Ocean Baths is an institution in Newcastle and free to enter and swim. The main pool is ideal for swimmers wanting to swim in the ocean with the safety net of being in an enclosed pool, and the kids pool next to the main pool...More
