There are several Ocean Baths in Newcastle {Newcastle -New south Wales Australia} Not too crowded and refreshing. Water Temperature seems to vary a little depending on the heat of the day LOL. Free Entry is a bonus. Good facilities near bye. As good as any "Infinity Pool I have been in. Had a great day - many friendly people around.... More

A stunning setting at the edge of Merewether Beach this ocean pool is Ideal for everyone - from babies and toddlers who will love the safe, shallow water and plenty of sand to play with to serious swimmers who want a decent workout. Cold outdoor showers and one hot one in the changing rooms the only downside is parking. But... More

It's a great day out if you want the beach but don't like the waves or have young children. They have a pool for swimming laps a kids pool and a normal swimming pool. They are all connected to the ocean and the normal and lap pool Evan have small fish in it! It's a fun and exciting day out... More

Probably more than 20 000 m2 the pool is so nice when you like to swim. Probably bigger than the Newcastle pool.

Love taking my kids here as there is two options for them, it's great to have a sand area adjacent to the pools. The only thing that isn't good is that there are not enough disabled carparks near the baths. On occasions I have sat in the car and my wife has taken the kids down to the pool, as... More

Wether you're a photographers, a swimmer or just out with the family for a quick dip, the baths offer so much for everyone and just a few meters away from some beach side cafes. What a great asset to Newcastle... Lucky devils :)

We gazed in wonder at the Merewether Baths, a rare attraction and seaside feature where we come from. A taste of yesteryear in a sense, beautiful place.

Great for kids and free of charge. Parking pretty good. Shallow end has sand on the bottom which is nice. Plenty of sun so take Sunscreen and hat. Ground space is limited as are the shady spots. Water is fresh and not slimy like some baths we've been to. Not much to buy so bring your water and snacks but... More
