First time visit to the zoo, a bit humid weather wise. The animals were all looking well cared for, seeing is was November & warm. Cost reasonable. Easy walking & driving.

Sydney to Great Ocean Road and back (5 Replies)
We are planning to travel from Sydney to Great Ocean Road and back starting on Jan 8, 2018 with a family of 5. I'd appreciate recommendations for the best scenic routes to take, accommodation suggestions, things to do with three boys aged 10, 12 and 14 who like outdoors activities and animals. I would imagine it's extremely busy in January. We have 2 weeks in total and would like to do a round trip down the south coast and including Taronga Western Plains Zoo on the way back. Or perhaps leave...More

Your overnight stops will depend on where you can find overnight accommodation. I would start plotting a loop using google maps identity...More
