Loved this gallery and actually made purchases. Howard is on site and is the friendliest funniest person you can meet, apart from being extremely talented, his paintings showcase not only his talent, love of colour but his satirical sense of humour. Thought paintings and prints...More

Located on the outskirts of town, Howard's gallery is next door to his home and its walls are decorated by pictures which are mainly cartoons on vernacular linguists (Strine). A running commentary by Howard from arrival to departure completes the visit.

Visited the artist’s studio and met the artist. He is a very approachable man and easy to talk with. His paintings are just so funny and happy. You can’t help feeling good looking at them. They are also not too pricey. Well worth a visit...More

Quirky would be one way of describing the work of this artist. Very humorous and colourful artwork and he's quite a character.

What a top bloke, and his art is pretty good too. So interesting, the art tells its own true blue Aussie stories with a tongue in cheekiness all of its own. Loved the A van with the P Van in tow, so much fun in...More

Visited this gallery on our way out of Broken Hill. Howard was there working on a new piece. He spoke to us and talked at length to our kids. Free to visit. Worth seeing.

This is a very different artist, funny, cynical, irreverent and sometimes rude, but amusing and colourful. Also in a beautifully restored original home. Well worth a visit.
