Make sure you visit here and see the great views and interesting itens of yesteryear. The wall of remembrance for deceased miners is quite a touching tribute to the history of the mines.

Excellent brochures available. The staff were prepared to look for answers to questions on the history of buildings & referred us to those who had more knowledge. Quite a selection of souvenirs.

Called in at Broken Hill visitors centre. Jarrah was a minefield (excuse the pun) of information. Gave us useful information of where to go/ what to do in a logical order. Lots of maps. Suggested places to eat. Even worked out where we were staying...More

Excellent VIC. Top staff and wonderful facility. Bus picked us up from here. Meals good, lots to see and do and help to do it. Will have to go back for a few more days as plenty to do.

The staff at the Visitor Information Centre are very friendly and helpful. They took the time to go through our options regarding tours and then booked them for us with all the details of pick up time etc.
