Visited here in April on a self guided driving tour of areas around Armidale. No water in the falls due to the drought however still amazing to visit as it is so huge and well worth the visit. Lots of bushwalks in the area however...More

The Wollomombi Falls are currently dry and not flowing, however the gorge is stunningly beautiful to see. The view from the Edgar lookout is excellent. The viewing deck for the Wollomombi falls is also closed due to required repairs, but other vantage points are available...More

After a few hours driving we stopped at Wollomombi Fall's to have a bite to eat and make a Coffee, Even through the tracks were not accessible on this visit due to erosion issue's the view was still Amazing, the toilets are always kept clean...More

Did a trip out from Armidale. The falls are dry due to the drought but are still impressive. However one viewing platform closed and directions to the others are disappointingly inaccurate. Dangar falls was more impressive

Visited this as a 1/2 day trip from Armidale easy drive. No waterfall as its been very dry. Still impressive and a must see these gorges are huge. Nice picnic BBQ area easy walks. Main lookout closed due to structural damage when i visted.

Best time to see is when there's been alot of raining in the last few days. So keep an eye on the weather reports and internet.

Unfortunately the drought has had a big impact on this location. There was little if any water running. The main lookout has been barricaded off due to some maintenance issues and we were unable to get a really good view. I would not recommend this...More
