The stark white and height of the War Monument is always spellbinding and breathtaking against the trees and blue sky. Certainly makes one pause for thought in this busy world.

There are several vantage points that offer views of all of Albury and great photo opportunities.

This is one of the most beautiful war memorials I have visited. The views from the top there are quite spectacular, and the memorial itself is a thing of beauty and dignity. The plaques commemorating involvement in different wars and conflicts are extremely impressive. A must for anyone who loves history, or genealogy.

The Monument Hill War Memorial is something not only locals should visit but is now something all visitors should see.
The improvements done by The Albury city Council definitely make this now one of ALBURY’S main tourist attractions. The views and gardens are amazing.
This is now a great Australian Monument to all our fallen comrades

Monument Hill is more than a view; it puts the City of Albury into perspective.
Monuments to War dead are easily read, including the Boer War before our ANZAC traditions.
When I viewed the city this January it was sunny and clear so I had some perspective of the City looking straight down Dean Street.

I have been to Albury countless times over many decades but finally decided to visit the War Memorial. What a surprise. It is an amazing tribute to those who have been involved in the many Australian conflicts. The plaques are informative and detailed. Only one nitpicky down side was a misplaced apostrophe used as a plural in one of the plaques. A very tiny error in an otherwise very impressive display. I doubt other regional cities could come close to matching it.

Well maintained and obviously loved. Great to visit even in the soft rain we experience the day we went there.
Great views at night from the park to the town, and vice versa.

A special place for war buffs or people wanting to pay their respects especially this close to Anzac Day. The monument appears to have been recently refurbished. The gardens are neat and cared for. A peaceful place to visit and it has a good view.

Wow! What a stunning spot! The council keep this place super clean. The white paint is truely white and clean. No graffiti! The grounds give you a sense of peace and reflection and the view is amazing

The War Memorial sits at the top of the hill at the end of the main street. There is a footpath all the way up to the top. It requires a little bit of fitness but is well worth it. I walked up around dawn and was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. The views over the town and surrounding hills make it very worthwhile. The memorial recognises the services of our diggers in the various conflicts around the world. Recommended.

I did not know about this until I was in Albury and had a look to see what interesting sites to visit. This came up and after visiting it, I would say this is a must visit attraction if you are in the are. The monument is beautifully built and at the same time you get a beautiful view of Albury. There is a small forest (gumtree) next to the monument. I would recommend to visit later in the afternoon especially in summer to have a nice sunset view of the city. They do have toilet facilities up at the location.
