Very cool pilot who told us about places of interest, sorry can't remember his name. Had done a boat trip in the morning which was awesome, seeing the stunning scenery from the air well that was incredible. You have to treat yourself and go for a flight…

We learned the Milford Sound road was closed a couple days before our scheduled cruise and we contacted several helicopter services to arrange alternative transportation. Te Anau Helicopter was most friendly and accommodating, and quickly got us scheduled (3 adults). Pilot Blake did an outstanding job of pointing out scenic highlights during the flights and was an expert source of information. Would recommend to anyone. P.s. Apologies for the phone photos!…

The weather wasn't the best for our flight, foggy nor dangerous, so we couldn't land on a mountain and what we could see in the short flight was not so spectacular. Recommend a longef flight or to go from Milford so you're in the heart of the best scenery to start with.
