You board the Earnslaw at the steamer wharf in Queenstown. There is a restaurant and a very good one. You you can buy a package that includes the steamer travel and lunch or dinner. Food is also available on the ship... More

yes you will have to book your bbq lunch, there are 3 departures i think dont quote me , but around 10am 12.30/1pm and about 3pm . then they have night cruise to walter peak for dinner... google walter peak station... More

My family and I ( 4 adults ) will be visiting Queenstown for 5 days end of April / beginning of May 2018. Should we prebook TSS Earnslaw and Walter Peak BBQ lunch here in Australia or do it when we get to Queenstown ? Would be nice to do it on a sunny day.
