Wow, totally unexpected.

Art isn't really my calling however this was outstanding.
This guy has a vision and talent that for me, is out of this world.

Who could use a dog as a common theme to create such masterpieces.

Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this gem in Queenstown. Really enjoyed looking at the Lonely Dog sketches and paintings and learning how they came to be.

A good rainy day activity. NZ has a lot of those

Walkin into Ivan Clarke's gallery is a journey. He is an amazing artist and the gallery provides two forms of his art to admire. His landscapes are breathtaking and the skill he has to bring the mountains inside so you feel you are there is commendable. His lonely dog series is quirky, fun and inspiration-able. The Gallery is beautifully displayed with nice lighting and room to show the exhibition without feeling too spacious. There is a range of different artworks such as bronze sculptures, Murano glass and postcards of the lonely dog. We purchased a lonely dog book which was signed as well as a numbered print. We look forward to having it up on our wall to remind us of our weekend in Queenstown. The gallery assistant was charming and knowledgeable. She made the whole experience worth walking through the door very worthwhile.

Be sure to visit this gallery. Landscape artwork is breathtaking and after viewing much of the art in Queenstown, prices are actually very reasonable. Be sure to read the story of the artist and the 'Lonely Dog'. This explains the journey of how the paintings and scuptures featuring the dogs came about. Incredibly inspiring!!

This is a favourite Art Gallery of mine, I love visiting whenever I am in Queenstown centre, would highly recommend to other people who appreciate art with humour, characters and art which tells a story, amazing painting skill, a very talented artist and sculpture, lovely that Ivan's daughter has inheriated his artistic talent but certainly has her own style. If you are in Queenstown then this is a must, easy to find as it in the centre. The staff are so lovely, friendly and welcoming. A chance to purchase paintings and prints and of course the Ivan Clarks book: Alveridgea: The Legend of the Lonely Dog...... Take time to enjoy Ivan Clarks creations....

It was raining on our visit to Queenstown so we popped into the Gallery on Camp street. So glad we did, the artworks are quirky and a bit of fun and worth a quick look if you're in town.

We stumbled onto this gallery on a cold and rainy day in Queenstown. Fabulous landscapes of magnificent mountains, rainforests, floral scenes, and whimsical dog and cat art. A great place to visit and enjoy.

This Artist is exceptional.
This gallery is up there with any contemporary gallery I have ever visited anywhere in the world. Exclusive to Ivan Clarke his mastery in the Lonely Dog series, collaboration with Weta Workshop ( Lord of the Ring) and he the majesty of his landscapes are inspiring. I purchased a signed and numbered edition of DREAMWEAVER.
Highly recommend a visit

This gallery has amazing paintings mainly of dogs, but also some cats. All paintings give a different take on our fury friends and are very funny & clever (originals & prints are for sale on site) I just wish i could afford one.
