We were blessed with the weather - sunshine and snowflakes throughout our beautiful journey down the lake. It was a very civilized ship with access to coffee, mulled wine and snacks. Would definitely recommend this.

While on our Wanaka Airshow trip, we stopped in Queenstown, just do do this cruise. I had been on the Earnslaw a number of times as a child, but this was my wife's first time. Every aspect of the trip is amazing. From watching the loading of the huge pile of coal to fuel the ship, to pulling away from... More

It slow, it's relaxed and it's great value for money (bbq lunch trip). A lovely way to wind down and have a nice lunch (actually great lunch). Cruise, sheep dog and shearing show and great food. A must. Family friendly too

The steamship was very cool and the crew were excellent. The captain gave a commentary along the way about the scenery and what things were including a history of the steamship. The farm was awesome and the sheepshearing demonstration as well as the herding dog demonstration was very informative. The bbq lunch was incredible with lots of options for everyone... More

Once at the station they serve up the most amazing bbq lunch with a selection of salads and roasted... More

An absolutely amazing day, starting with a beautiful trip across the lake. The boat upkeep is great, with good quality food and coffee onboard in the cafe. The farm homestead is absolutely stunning. The buffet lunch is well worth the money, with great quality locally sourced food prepared fresh by the chef. The farm tour was a little short for... More

We had so much fun, the cruise to walter peak is stunning. The day we went was a sunny day so the pictures we took are beautiful. The steamboat itself is an amazing experience. I've never been on a steamboat before so it was cool to be able to do that. I loved that you were able to have a... More

This is perhaps the most must do thing in Queenstown. May not appeal to the adrenaline junkies but for everyone else it is a great way to take a relaxing trip across the lake. You can walk through the engine room and see them stoking coal into the fires. Many years ago you were able to go up and stand... More
