We chartered helitours to take us to wineries in the Otago region. The helicopters were clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Our pilot, Scott was so lovely that we even asked him to join us for lunch! We would definitely hire a helitours helicopter again.…

This was a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity. We did the Milford Sound, Glacier landing, west coast beach landing tour and it was incredible. We saw the most spectacular scenery, no pictures or words to it justice. We booked direct with Heli Tours and their communication was great. We had to change days because we double booked and it was no problem. Our pilot was super friendly and fun. If you have the budget to do this (it is expensive), I totally recommend you do!…

Review of: Milford Extended
I went out on Heli Toues Milford Sound Extended today and it was by far the best experience of my life! Andrew, our pilot, flew us above Queenstown, Mt Aspiring National Park with views of Glenorchy and the Dart River to Milford Sound. We had the chance to spot plenty of blue and green Mountain Lakes and Glaciers on the way and every time we came across a mountain top we were just overwhelmed by the stunning views. Andrew gave us a lot of information and showed us deer and seals and allowed us to take pictures at every sight including the blue mountain lake at the 3rd landing at a glacier. He made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole flight. He has some good jokes as well :) We landed 3 times: Milford Sound, a stunning West Coast Beach and at a Glacier. The crew including the base team (Sofie and Jamie) as well as pilots we met on the way (Ben) are going above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. I can‘t recommend this company and especially the Milford Sound Extended flight enough.…

Excellent to hear you had a wonderful experience on our Milford Extended, it is a popular flight as you can see many different environments (rain-forest/coastal/alpine glacier/southern lakes) from the air and get up close and personal in that location. Our pilots and ground staff make sure all our passengers are comfortable and provide a informative commentary along the way, backed up by taking photos on your own cameras along with a friendly smile. I find that when I try to describe this experience, the words I come up with don’t seem adequate. This tour was simply breathtaking. It was my first time on a helicopter.
