Canyoning is a great way to experience a wide range of adventure activities...

Canyoning is a great way to experience a wide range of adventure activities in a unique and exclusive setting. Our group sizes are small to ensure a higher quality experience and provide an opportunity to explore and enjoy the stunning natural environment.

Canyoning Queenstown offers exhilarating Canyoning experiences in three unique and gorgeous canyons. We believe we have something for everyone, whether you are a complete novice or have canyoneered all over the world.

- Queenstown Adventurer

The canyon for all ages and abilities. Just a 10 minute drive from Queenstown and you’re ready to enter the canyon. The Adventurer has a bit of everything canyoning has to offer in action filled half day experience.

- Routeburn Explorer

Unleash your adventurous side in this breathtaking canyon in a UNSECO World Heritage Site enjoying a full day sensory overload!Hike part of the world famous Routeburn Track, one of New Zealand's 7 great walks. No experience is necessary, but this trip is definitely for the more adventurous traveller!

- Dart Challenger

Taking it to the next level. For experienced canyoneers only! This trip requires a high level of fitness and prior canyoning experience. Technical instruction will be provided throughout the trip, numbers are kept very small so everyone will get one on one instruction from our guides.

During all of our trips, experienced guides will lead you safely down streams within a canyon by a variety of means:

- Leaping through waterfalls into crystal clear pools

- Flying across the canyons on ziplines

- Navigating through riverbeds

- Abseiling/rappelling down cliffs

- Sliding down natural slides

- Swimming through stunning chasms

We did the half day Queenstown canyoning trip back in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had never done canyoning before and I'm a bit scared of heights but our guides (ML and an American guy) were so great with their instruction that I abseiled and jumped off waterfalls without hesitation! The gear that they provide you with was very... More

Went with my fiance and best friend who was visiting. We had so much fun jumping off rocks, flying foxs and abseiling down. Really good for all abilities. Wish they offered photos at the end as we didn't have a camera with us (that was water and shock proof) I would have paid $$ to get an epic photo to... More

This trip was made awesome by our guides ML & Jumbo. Jumbo had all the canyoning experience in the world but I couldn't understand everything he said... which only made the trip more interesting. Great vibe and energy from our guides. Chur!

You're standing at the edge of a slippery precipice, your mind racing faster than the pristine falls gushing about your ankles and roaring in your ears. Despite your trepidation, you follow the calls of your guide and leap. The shrill scream that escapes you as you plunge into the icy pool underneath pierces the cool rainforest canopy...your past, present and... More

Day started with a quick briefing by ML our soon to be trusted guide, comedian, and hero for the day. Had a beautiful drive through the country to the Routeburn canyon. The day encompassed so much - epic jumps into pools of white water, abseiling down waterfalls, watersides of natural rock, sweet zip lining....and all set in such a beautiful... More

Involves sliding down natural slides made by the river, jumping with off the top of waterfalls into small pools of water surrounded by rock, and negotiating the steep sides of the canyon with ropes as you make your way downstream. There is an element of danger that takes this activity beyond most others and gives a sense of accomplishment at... More

Had a day off from a business conference feeling pumped and wanted to challenge my self to NZ canyoning. Such a great experience getting in and out of the canyon. Josh and Jumbo are great guides no matter what your skill level there's always challenges. Completed my first zip line abseil combo into the crystal clear pool. Great way to... More

Like ducks to water, very cold water we took to canyoning. Ziplining, ropelling, sliding, jumping, swimming, or very simply Canyoning, why have I not done this before??? Brilliant day out coming back for me. Shane and Gus thanks very much.

What a day! We got to walk a small section of the Routeburn before jumping full speed into the Canyon and it did not disappoint. The scenery was amazing and the guides were great in teaching us about the history of the land and the canyoning techniques. The tour boasts a vast array of activities including natural water slides, abseiling,... More
