- Francoise L4 contributionsParadiseWe found this place by fluke while on a bit of a Queenstown google search spree. I contacted John to ask if he had any availability the next day and he got back to me so quickly. It was booked within hours. John had everything you could think of - music, water, a changing tent, hats for if it was raining. It would be perfect for all types of weather - warm and cosy in winter and there was a table for if you wanted to take a picnic in warmer weather. It was such great value for money as we were allowed the flexibility of turning up any time we wanted between 12 and 6pm and were allowed to stay for three hours! The views were incredible, it was so peaceful and secluded - which is a rare feeling in Queenstown. A true slice of paradise. We left feeling so relaxed. Thank you John and good luck with your new adventure. We hope to come back some day :)Visited July 2020Written July 12, 2020
- Jess5 contributionsAbsolutely Amazing!!This is a place you do not want to miss. There are glorious panoramic views of the gorgeous scenery Queenstown has to offer. These tubs offer great privacy and nothing has been missed in the service including a music speaker, cups/wine glasses, umbrella hats incase it rains and water, a wee nibble and table and chairs for a nice lunch and even a great location for a picnic. The change tent and toilet area are outstanding. We would highly recommend to anyone as a place you MUST visit when spending time in Queenstown! The process from booking to showing up is seamless and the owner is outstanding with communication - top notch service!! We will definitely be back!Visited May 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten May 30, 2020

- whittynz13Auckland Central, New Zealand53 contributionsExceeded ExpectationsThe best experience in Queenstown. Happy we found this when looking for a hot pool to relax in. "Check in" experience was well detailed and you do feel like you are left alone / very private. Location is picturesque. The temperature that it was set too was perfect for us as it was not too hot whilst the sun was up. The fact you can bring your own picnic is a great benefit compared to other spots. There is a UE Boom, umbrella hats, towels, glasses and water all provided which allow you to enjoy your stay. Would 100% book this again if we visit Queenstown again.Visited March 2022Written April 5, 2022
- AntsQueenstown, New Zealand6 contributionsBest date in our first 4 months !Excellent booking platform, easy & efficient. Directions to find were spot on although a trick for beginners was taking the gold gate pathway to the lower tub & should’ve gone further up the hill to the red gate - our fault! The view is 360 degree magnificent. We went at 5pm to watch the sunset & see the stars come out. 3hrs is a perfect time frame in my view as the latest possible time slot. The inclusions are perfect, sparking water towels etc. Heating via gas is amazing, In minutes 39 degrees bliss. When reading this review you may be weighing up other options like Onsen. No comparison. This is the true outdoor quintessential kiwi experience. Enjoy - we’ll certainly be back !Visited September 2021Traveled with friendsWritten September 18, 2021

A peaceful location, soaking in warm water and just taking in the wonderful mountain and hillside views. A very different tourist activity but we are certainly glad we did it. John (the host) communicated well and this is an activity we would recommend to try out as something unusual but very special. We would do again.Visited January 2023Written January 13, 2023
- Toadstool46911 contributionA beautiful birthday surpriseAn absolutely stunning adventure!! Such a beautiful setting with everything thought of, towels, speaker, wine glasses, sun hats etc. Private and secluded 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Frankton but you cant hear it other than the occassional plane. Communication was fantastic. Everything was ready when we arrived and was private and didnt see the hosts which was beautiful. I highly recommend allowing yourself the pleasure of this experience. - Eleanor NSydney, Australia8 contributionsIdyllic relaxationWhat an epic spot! This was a surprise trip for my partner which made it a bit of fun driving through a seemingly random farm. We decided to take a cheese platter along for lunch and really enjoyed the flexibility of arriving in our own time and not feeling like we're stuck to a schedule. Best kept secret of Queenstown. Take sunscreen if it's a nice day!! Easy to get some winter colour in the sun.Visited August 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten August 17, 2020

It's a fabulous hot tub on the side of a grassy hillside overlooking a small lake and up to the mountains. Our hosts had thought of everything to make our time enjoyable, making it a perfect spot for easing tired muscles after a day on the slopes or tramping. We had thought we'd be there for just a couple of hours but fully appreciated being there for three as you can adjust the water temp. Take a picnic!!!

Absolutely amazing experience!! Everything was though out to perfection, and so clean. Could not fault a single thing. Lots of privacy which is hard to find in Queenstown. The host John, had a very causal yet professional approach which we loved. Will definitely be back 10/10!!

The cliff side tub was amazing! The view is even more spectacular than it’s pictured. 3 hours of absolute bliss. The tub was easy to get too and John was super helpful and informative. There’s a change room and bathroom in walking distance of the tub. Water bottles, a speaker, wine glasses and towels were provided and we brought a picnic basket to share during our time. There was also a chair and table set up next to the tub to eat the food we brought. Couldn’t recommended this enough.
