Amazing attraction

What a great place to visit. Nick and his staff went out of the way for our daughter. She had a wonderful time being able to spin honey and create her own jar of honey. Would recommend a visit for lunch and honey spinning

Something for everyone

After driving past a couple of times we decided to book for the honey spinning tour. So glad we did as it was our favourite activity in our holiday. Rosie was an amazing host and guide, her passion for honey and bees was obvious and we loved every minute of the experience.
Will definitely be back in the summertime for the beekeeping tour.
Highly recommend any and everyone stop in here, even just for coffee ice cream and a pot of delicious local honey. Highly recommended, very affordable

Great Little Place
Apr 2021
Located just outside of the Queenstown city, Buzzstop is a great place to stop for a relaxing coffee. Unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity this time around to do the bee tour however based on the other reviews this is something that I would love to do next time around. Large selection of honey in the shop from your standard honey right through the $100+ bottles of Manuka. Coffee was great and the addition of honey as a sweetener instead of sugar was a great touch.

The staff inside was extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about all things bees! Even if you do not do the tour this place is worth a stop just to take a look around, talk to the staff and grab a coffee.

Absolutely amazing experience. My whole family (including Mr 6, miss 13)loved the honey spinning tour so much that we instantly booked to do the "be a beekeeper" tour. Fantastic tours lead by a very knowledgeable man who answered every question we had, we learnt so much more than we expected to. To top it all off we had a lovely trip at the cafe with very kind serving staff. We will never look at Bee's the same way again😁.
I highly recommend the ginger infused honey, it is amazing as a drink with lemon and warm water!

Had an amazing morning learning about bees.

Took a break from the usual bungee, carts, winery’s blah blah and had an amazing morning at buzz stop.

This place is 100% local owned and operated with a passion for Bees.

The tour is about 1.25 hours with a pot of honey you extracted at the end.

A great place to have lunch with a really beautiful garden area or inside if the weather insists.

Coffee was bloody good as well which would appear to be a rare thing (a week in qtown and finally had a good coffee).

Thanks buzz stop keep doing what you’re doing!

We had a wonderful morning learning all about bees. We did the honey spinning tour and each got a pot of delicious honey with our own labels on. This was a really great activity, suitable for all ages and also good on rainy days. There is a cafe, wine tasting and a shop selling honey from all around New Zealand. The honey can be tasted to help you to decide which to buy. I never realised how much work (by the bees and the beekeeper) goes into a spoonful of honey. Many thanks Nick! 😊🐝

Cool Café and bees, don't miss out!
Jan 2021
I have been visiting this nice Café with a cosy rustic interior and lots of honey inside a while, but I today went on very cool interactive journey with Nick and his bees. It was awesome to talk about bees and beekeeping. !!! Thanks to Buzzstop and Nick.

Well worth a visit!

Fascinating and informative. Real beekeeper with real hives showing the process from colony to consumption. Good experience and million miles away from a gimmick tourist attraction.
Great cafe food and coffee too, well worth a visit.
