I went for a walk around this park when I had a free day in Queenstown and I am glad I did. The park is not big but it's beautiful, calming and offers gorgeous views of Queenstown and The Remarkables.

These are really beautiful gardens to walk around, go for a ride or even just play frisbee! (There is a competition track). Not very big, you can do it all in maybe an hour or so, or just go for a picnic and stay as long as you want. You can get very nice pictures not only with the gardens... More

Defiantly a must do when coming to Queenstown! It's an easy stroll to take at your own pace and has stunning views of the lake and township.

Definitely a refreshing walk through the gardens situated on the small peninsula of the bay. Lots of interesting trees, including huge redwoods, and a rose garden. Bacchi or lawn bowling area in center.

A gorgeous place to visit anytime of the year, I walk around the gardens any day I can. The walk isn't very long and the path through the trees gives you a beautiful 30-45 mins to relax. And lots of benches along the walk to sit and look at beautiful Queenstown.

A walk around the lakeshore returning back through the gardens is the ideal way to get away from the crowds and take in the stunning scenery. In the gardens seek out the memorial to Scott's ill fated 1912 expedition to the South Pole - very moving. The frisbee golf in the pine forest looks fun as do the Segway tours.... More

The Queenstown Botanical Gardens fully occupy its own point on the harbour allowing you to circumnavigate the gardens at waters edge and take in the magnificant harbour and Alpine views. But the garden has a lot more to offer than just views. There are some outstanding trees that are very old and very large and well worth a look. There... More

The gardens, (and the pond) are a cool getaway from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. Away from the mini-traffic jams and the crowded streets. If you're wanting to walk off a meal and have a spare hour or so for a leisurely stroll, then the gardens are the perfect spot. You can start with a lakeside walk and double... More

Sitting on the edge of the lake Queenstown Garden is a beautiful spot popular with residents and visitors alike. Great for a relaxing walk or rest between the myriad of activities that Queenstown offers.
