The perfect mix of adventure on the water. Enjoyed the fast ride UP the river in the jet boat, followed by the mellow and refreshing float back down in canoe. The water and mountain scenes were jaw dropping the whole time. So much natural beauty in this country and this shows it so well. Highly recommend this tour.

What an experience travelling up the Dart River at up to 85kph. Highly recommended. Make sure you dress for the chill and hang on to your beanie. I donated mine to the Dart. But what a thrill. All the staff were great and made you feel very welcome. The scenery is magnificent of course and the gift of a small piece of Pounamu was very much appreciated.

Kia Ora Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Its great to hear you had such a great time on your trip and even donated a beanie to the Dart - It can get a bit windy out there :-) We hope to meet you again in the future for another adventure. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. Nga Mihi Jane

We had a fantastic time out on the Wilderness Jet and on the Wilderness Tour. The guides were professional, fun and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time! If there were any questions or concerns, they took care of it quickly. Highly recommend for an exciting and well organized trip!

We did this tour and it was so much fun! We had a little bus tour to Glenorchy and saw some locations used in Lord of the Rings. Our guide was nice but got missed up a few times although he was a nice person. We had a short Bush walk which was nice and he gave us insect repellant which was essential! But the absolute highlight was the trip on the Dart River on the jet boat. Ed was our pilot/driver and he was just brilliant, full of really interesting info and showed us some gorgeous sights but always ensuring our safety. He was great fun and the 360s were brilliant! The views and the water was just spectacular, a absolute must do when visiting NZ, I didn't want it to end!

Had a great trip. Views were breathtaking and there were some exciting swerves and spins on the boat trip. Very much 'Lord of the rings' countryside and the pilot of our boat was knowledgeable and entertaining. Slightly marred at the end when the driver of the bus which was coming to pick us up in a remote spot managed to sink that bus in the sand and it was totally stuck. The driver was very unclear were we were to go as this was the second part of the tour (were we should have had a relatively short guided walk through the forest area but due to the bus sinking it was a longer walk and some participants had expected to wait on bus due to mobility issues). The participants were wandering off in various directions. Very chaotic. Sorted eventually and another bus arrived but a bit more training needed for staff when dealing with such situations because I gathered this was not a complete one off. However as we loved the jet boat tour so much, have to give a 5 star recomendation despite that bus!
