This was the second time we had walked part of this track. The carpark is the starting point, and after walking through a bit of forest, you find yourself on a track right next to the lake. Located about a third of the way to Glenorchy, this track is a perfect place to stretch your legs. We didn't make it all the way to the cove, but thoroughly enjoyed the 2.5 hours spent hiking along the well-maintained track. Parts of the trail do get a little steep, but none of the steeper areas are very long. Anyone in average shape should be able to navigate it easily.…
