Nice to see the free falling waters, making their way down the rocky slope, but having seen fantastic waterfalls in Canada, Brazil-Argentina, and China, I can't rate this any better than average.

Visited on Friday 4th May. We were lucky to see Bowen Falls on our boat cruise on Milford Sound, made even more spectacular from the recent rain.

During a cruise, we pulled into Milford sound, we felt lucky to be able to see this impressive sight, from a rather massive ship.

We got a close up view of these falls while on our Milford Sound cruise - flying into Milford with Milford Sound Scenic Flights. Our captain on Mitre Peak cruises was able to get in close to many of the falls and other scenic attractions on our cruise around Milford Sound - thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

Our cruise took us near the waterfall. It had been raining all day. The falls had plenty of water and were beautiful. The sun came out just as our cruise came near the falls. Beautiful rainbow appeared. Magnificent!

As part of the Milford Sound cruise few were taken close to these falls, which were in full flow on a wet and misty day.

Saw this from the scenic crusing through Milford Sounds on the Golden Princess it was very overcast but it was still lovely to see it from the deck of the ship.

Were able to get right up close to the falls on our Milford Sound cruise with Milford Mariner. Also got a lovely packed lunch. A great trip overall. Definitely do it if you get a sunny day.

This is Milfords tallest waterfall at 162 mtrs. You can get a good view on foot by walking out at low tide, but not as good of a view if you take a boat trip.
