Dear Jane, Your son Callum was an amazing guide throughout our kayaking tour. Fun, informative, and great at keeping everyone together and safe. Also, he has an awesome hat protecting him from the scorching sun. I highly recommend the sunrise tour to anyone looking for great views of the sound (fjord). Unbelievable place. Everyone working for Rosco's was extremely welcoming... More

We booked the Sunriser Classic and it definitely did not disappoint. We were in double kayaks. We had an awesome guide - can't remember his name though! (sorry) It was about a 12km kayak in total around the Fjord. We even saw two seals baking on the rocks! The scenery is just beautiful and it was a huge highlight of... More

This was the coolest thing we did in the South Island, and we spent two weeks exploring in a Campervan! This is a weather dependent activity, but the kayak trip will leave you speechless. Not only is the scenery one of a kind, but you will also more than likely see seals and penguins! Our guide was a local and... More

Perfect day spent at Milford Sound. Our guide Courtney topped off the whole experience with her knowledge and overall personality. We did the Stirling Sunrise tour, which we had the opportunity to kayak under the waterfall- I would definitely recommend this. Word of advice!!! Wear plenty of insect repellent, we left with some very itchy sand flie bites due to... More

We booked the glory milford kayak tour : about 16 km kayaking from the end of the fjord down to the Tasman see. It was just great : small clouds on the water to welcome us, then a bit of sun ; see lions to be seen ; not a sound, not a boat as we began at 7.00. 16km... More

A must do for the Milford Sound. Great trip, even on a bit rainy day. Nice with a pick up from Te Anau. Great guide with a lot of knowledge.

What a great day. The kayak event was perfect. Ben our group leader did an amazing job moving us at just the right pace. If you are in the area this is the thing to do!

I took 2 trips: Twilighter Classic (Nov 29, 2015) & Morning Glory (Dec 4, 2015) to get the most of magic Milford Sound and closer than boats. Both of them great! Unfortunately, I forgot guides names. They did good job! I was even picked up and brought back to Milford Lodge both times. Twilighter Classic's highlight - going all the... More

We signed up for the Morning Glory trip, however, it turned into the Sunriser Classic trip due to high winds. Our guide, Harley I think, provided only a very brief instruction on sea kayaking and exiting the boat if capsized. We had sea kayaked earlier in our trip at Abel Tasman so we already felt comfortable navigating with foot pedals,... More

Went on the sunrises classic. Rosco's organised transport to and from Te Anau which is great. Had a great guide called Joe who gave us a great safety and introduction and we were on the water in no time. We explored some of the waterfalls and our guide filled the group in on some of the history of the area,... More
