Our group of 7 did the Sunrise trip. Brilliant morning spent with Callum our guide, in 4 double kayaks. Rosco's boat drops us off up the Sound so the first falls we paddled to were Stirling Falls. Being a cold day we didnt paddle under, but got up really close. Callum was very easy to get along with (and did... More

We did the Milford Track Paddle & Walk during our honeymoon in November. We enjoyed our afternoon on the water and track. The track is certainly the focus of this adventure with a three hour stunning return walk. You get about 45 minutes on the water each way. It's a great way to get exposure to the very well maintained... More

We started our kayak at 7am, our Guides, Abby and Monte, were knowledgeable about the Sound and gave us insight regarding the history. The kayaks are in twos so buddy up with a friend or you could make a new one! The Sound can get a bit choppy when you paddle further out, so make sure you pack in motion... More

I did the Morning Glory trip with Rosco's and had a GREAT time! Our trip only had 8 people (including our guide) which was the perfect size for a trip of this kind. Our guide Callum got to know each person on the trip, and he was really knowledgeable about both kayaking and the natural sites we saw. We got... More

This is quite a good thing to do while in Milford Sound if you don't fancy sitting on a boat. It is quite pricey but you really get to see Milford Sound up close and personal. Everything is provided for you. Only need to bring a camera and water.

We did the Morning Glory trip where we kayaked the length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. Our guide, Callum, was funny and knowledgeable and a great guide! We saw tons of penguins swimming and lots of seals relaxing on on rocks. It was incredible to be in the water and have seals swim up right beside you. Callum... More
