Milford Sound is a very special place and this is a great way to see it. There were 2 choices - you could meet the guides in Milford at 10am or, like us, you could be picked up from Te Anua. I'm so pleased we chose this option as Te Anau is a lovely place to stay and our guide,... More

visiting the sound in kayak is a fantastic, environmentally friendly idea! Unfortunately the operations are run in an unprofessional way, especially given the price tag on the tour. the guide was more into having fun for himself than showing the clients the fjord. He was rude, did not reply to questions appropriately. Out of the 4 hours, we were only... More

Firstly we stayed at the accommodation provided by the owner of the company. They were away but we had a lovely note waiting for us with all instructions. The room had everything you needed plus a little spa pool outside! The drive to Milford Sound was uncertain due to weather conditions but we made it eventually. Our guide met us... More

We did the day safari from Te Anau and loved it. Our guide gave us information and let us stop for pictures on the way there and back (the road is beautiful) but the highlight was paddling around Milford Sound. It's an incredible place and kayaking is the best way to experience it. Paddling is way more fun than just... More

To start off, I define myself as a Caribbean Type of person...and after 15 days of rain I had to make friends with the weather and hit the road to Milford Sound. Thank God I did!!!! Cannot put into words the emotion of being surrounded by those magnificent mountains and in the middle of the passage and the falls!!!! Thank... More

We did the Day Safari which was a great choice! We were picked up from our accommodation and had a guided tour with a few stops along the way. Definitely worth it to not have to worry about the drive and to be able to enjoy the view and hear about the history and interesting features! We were a bit... More

We did this in November 2014 When we booked out trip to New Zealand, Milford Sound was on the list of something we had to do. Rather than the typical boat tour we wanted to do something that was different and one of a kind. We signed up for the Stirling Sunriser which wasn't the longest kayak ride but we... More

We were lucky enough to experience milford sounds on a stunner of a day. Blue skies and calm water. How beautiful it was. Kayaking is a lot of fun.we got split into smaller groups to make the trip enjoyable. We were equipped with everything so there was no chance of getting cold. Our guide Ben was fantastic, told us heaps... More
