Beautiful view of the valley. There’s two opportunities so recommend taking both to capture images and once you see the sign make a safe stop and capture the images. Respect other travellers and be mindful of the traffic if crossing the road.
The second stop is by a creek and it is sign posted. We could only stop at the first and therefore missed out on the second opportunity.

On your way to Milford Sound make sure that you stop here (unless you are flying to Milford Sound) to enjoy the valley, mountains and the Lakes in the area. We spent about 15 minutes and clicked sevral pictures while enjoying the surroundings of the place.

Visited on Friday 4th May. We were lucky enough to have time on our coach tour to stop and stretch our legs while admiring the view.

Great views along the calley as you are heading towards Milford Sound. So many people pull over in the vally and take a picture as long as the rain clouds are not around.

Eglinton Valley is one of those places that anyone on the Milford Sound road must stop for photos and to take in the majesty of the scenery. Motor coaches typically stop here for that reason. There's parking for private vehicles. Stop and enjoy what nature created.
