A short drive from the main city center and you can get a great view of the harbour approach and most of Dunedin city. Definitely worth a visit.

We drove up to Signal Hill in the morning. This gives you a great morning light view of the city, the ocean, Otago Harbour and the Peninsula as well as the surrounding countryside. They certainly are stunning panoramic views. We noticed that there is a...More

Definitely a must do if you are in Dunedin. We went at sunset...the view was amazing and the photos were brilliant. A good way to stary your trip as you can see where everything is.

Came here far too early in the morning to try and see the selenelion - to no avail. But a beautiful spot close to the city with gorgeous views.

Windy road to climb up to the lookout but well worth it for the spectacular views- you need to view it both during the day and at night.

It's a pity this great place with views over Dunedin out to the Pacific has no cafe or restaurant as this would be an ideal spot.

Awesome views of the city and ocean from the top. A must do if you have the time. When going here you should also venture to see the worlds steepest road as they are nearby each other !

Hadn't been up to Signal Hill before on previous trips to Dunedin but was certainly worth the 10minute drive. Some stunning views on a clear day
