I didn't have much time to walk around, however it was a beautiful park, with both great open grassy spaces, and some more formal gardens near the museum. I will spend more time walking around next time I am in Christchurch.

Tracks were easy to follow and despite running... More

Something for everyone at Hagley with the Botanical Gardens in one area, sports grounds in another, long leisurely walking tracks around and through the north, south and "little" Hagley sections. Many large blossom trees and millions of bulbs in spring bring glorious colour to the city. Autumn is just as stunning... More

I love spending time here. Great walk to see their garden. It is really the most beautiful garden I have seen in New Zealand.

This park is one of the wonders of the world untouched ( an untouchable) enjoyment be it a sporting fixture or exercise or just a stroll , it's great in any weather, and if you are really quiet you will see rabbits, possums brown owls native pigeons and a wide variety of other wildlife. But please respect this park
