We used to hangout on the beach until night, swimming, waterline (slackline), painting, yoga etc.... The food truck there made on of the best fries squid of Christchurch, better than most of the local Fish&chips.

Corsair bay is a beautiful sheltered place to swim and take the whole family, and or friends. You can walk around the bays as well to the neighboring bays.

Wow. Take the road back over the Port Hills to Christchurch - it is well worth the views and the bonus being able to gaze back over the Canterbury Plains all the way to the Southern Alps.

The Council closes gates after 8.30 pm, so no worries. Just check times as enter the parking area first.
