Beautiful old trams with a great commentary from the driver and conductor. Cheap tickets and you get to be in a historic tram journey.

I frequently take my children on the tram. Is the best way to travel around and view the city of Christchurch. Very easy to use as its a hop on/off service. Super friendly service with a smile. A must do when you visit here :)

Though not all the track are opens, the track that opens are excellent. Some of the open track are passing through some of rebuilding areas that are still closed to public. Though one of the conductor we got was quite a grumpy old man.

Got the trip as a reduction as near end of day and part of tramway closed. Barry the driver was a wealth of information told with humour and pride. I would recommend anyone visiting to make this a must wether only to get a fleeting glimpse or as a basis for a longer visit.

I don't usually use hop on and off tourist bus type services but this tram was a very picturesque and useful way of getting around the main tourist sites in Christchurch with limited time available. Good value to.

I took a friend from England on the tram. She really found it very good and the driver gave us very interesting facts and information. And they were smiley and friendly. I have bought a year pass to the tram /gondola which cost $59. If you are a Chch local and have friends who might come fairly often to Chch... More

A good way to see the centre of Christchurch and hear about the history and the earthquake etc. Lovely authentic tram with friendly drivers. Unfortunately its incredibly slow with many prolonged and what seemed unnecessary stops. If you need to get from A to B then just walk as its far quicker!

Goes round a small section of Christchurch . Stops at many of the main spots. Bought the ticket in the information office near the museum.
