Nice setting amongst an English style garden. Have a walk around as an impressive building. Tasting room is nice with friendly staff. Tasting list was extensive so allows a good taste of the regions style.

Nice place for a visit and to do a wine tasting. We all bought a bottle as they had a nice selection of wines to suit all tastes. Didn't stay for lunch. The menu looked good but more fine dining that a casual lunch.

We planned to visit Pegasus on our way south, and it was worth the visit. The setting was great, as was the winery cellar door. We were looked after by a very lovely lady who was so genuine that she felt like a friend, and her knowledge was exemplary. After the wine connoisseurs in our group had done their tasting,... More

Have driven by the sign many times en route to Christchurch And finally turned in and drove to seek it out. So glad we did... It was an absolute delight. The grounds, even though its winter looks happy and entriguing!! Cant wait to return in summer when its in full bloom. Then.... You arrive inside this beautiful character building and... More

This is consistently one of the best options for lunch in the north Canterbury region. The menu is always exciting, and the wine list is excellent, especially as they offer back vintages that you can't buy in the tasting room. You must book ahead as it is very popular and on a fine day dining outside is a must! Highly... More

More people in Christchurch should make the trip. On a beautiful sunny winter day we were the only people in the tasting room. We got friendly, knowledge service from a lovely local lady(German originally, sorry name escapes me). Support local and buy directly from the winery. So many amazing wines in the area

45 minutes from Christchurch Pegasus Winery is an impeccable estate boasting the famous wines from the region. I recommend you make a booking if you'd like lunch as unfortunately my partner and I missed out on a table. The menu looked tasty - expect to pay fine dining type prices. We were instead offered the snack menu which looked delicious... More

Incredible backdrop. Some lovely white wines. Complimentary wine tasting. Lunch delicious. Ordered a main each and came with complimentary bread (gf available) with olive oil and a little starter, which wasn't expected. Some light features made from wine bottles.

Top wines - superb venue - faultless food & service ! If you haven't been, then put it top of your list ! They even provided our 4 year old with pictures & pens which kept her occupied whilst we wined & dined !! Our family's ages ranged from 65 - 4 years and we all confirmed it as our... More
