Very informative with a lot of different perspectives. If you have a secret longing for Antarctica or just find the continent interesting it's definately worth a visit. Interactive exhibitions and a big place makes for a long visit though. You should go into the storm...More

Of about 8 things to do here, my favorite ones were the hagglund ride (on an uneven terrain which presumably is an Antarctic-like one with "pretty steep" ups-and-downs where to make it more difficult are logs, tires & a small pool of water but all...More

The tickets are relatively expensive. I guess it costs a lot to run the place as I can see the attractions of the center does require lots of money to maintain. Not very suitable for young children. Older kids will learn and enjoy more.

It had been some years since I had visited the Centre. Thoroughly enjoyed all activities, especially the 4D movie. Don’t miss visiting the Centre. Fun for the whole family.

I rang the business there are no resident discounts. I won't be attending for 4x price of a movie when the 2 other museums in Christchurch and the art gallery are free.

They don’t play any videos about Antarctica. But there is a simulation room where they have created the wind speed and temperature as like Antarctica and they will provide special jackets to feel the climate there.
