Nice peacefull place

It's always nice to have a peacefull place to go in a city. Many people were sitting reading or relaxing or just chilling out.

There is a set up for Shakespeare in the Park, but otherwise this is an empty space between the library and museum and a link to some wonderful sculptures overlooking the water. So much more could be done with this space

This is a cut-through between a lot of different spaces. A busy space with lawns so a lot of people sitting around and relaxing but the views of the sea are so close by, we decided not to sit here and take the 2 minute walk to the views of the ocean instead.

Civic square is lined with few tall and Big Buildings designed in interesting architectural style, offering a glimpse of the modern NZ. Not really a tourist spot as such, you can casually walk through this place, if you happen to be close by.

Since they've removed the silver hanging fern balls and laid artificial grass it's lost its fun feel. A lot happens here though as it's right next to the art gallery and in town so usually some event or another going on.

This is a nice public place for you to enjoy. There are a lot of government buildings and there is a nice art gallery there are also a couple of statues and sculptures around the place. In conclusion this is a nice public place to relax and maybe see a couple of sites.

Central City. Art Gallery a must. Clark's Cafe at the City Library is a great place to stop for a coffee and cake.... Always something on at the City Library. Just around the corner is the Wellington District Police Station if you have a need to talk to our helpful and friendly police.

As a capital it is a really beautiful city surrounded by hills and full of character. It does get cold and the first words one learns is that Wellington can have four types of weather in one day. I loved it.

Young people, older people, families with kids, they were all in evidence at City Square on a sunny, Saturday afternoon in the Windy City. Nice place to sit and enjoy a flat white.
