The look out at the top of Mt Victoria provides a wonderful 360 degree view of this lovely city. Parking appeared to be quite limited at the top but luckily it wasn't too busy the day we visited. There are a few info signs at the lookout but some maps so you know what you are looking at would be... More

This is a great place to visit to get stunning 360 views of Wellington. It doesn't get too busy either.

Mount Victoria rises 196 metres above Wellington with stunning views of the city and the surrounding area. When we visited it was a reasonable day with fairly high winds but the lookout had attracted quite a lot of visitors. It is worth visiting for the views alone but it is also part of the Wellington Town Belt, an area of... More

This is my local patch and if you are new to Wellington or just visiting is a must do. It give such a great perspective of our gorgeous city. You really get an appreciation of how unique Wellington is with beaches, mountains, rough coastline and best coffee in the NZ if not the world! A walk up to the lookout... More

The view of Wellington from Mount Victoria is absolutely beautiful on a clear day. It's a very popular stop for busloads of tourists. Nice free attraction.

Well worth the trip. We did it the easy way - by car. Probably a very nice walk also, but we didn't have the time. The view is amazing, 360, you can see the whole of Wellington and beyond.

You can drive or walk up the Mountain. I chose to drive and then took the stairs to the look out point. Beautiful Panoramic views. Great photo opportunities. Very windy even on a normal windy day.
