“Top Spot”
Hashigo Zake is New Zealand's most single minded beer outlet - defiantly excluding the bland, the boring and the industrial and only serving beer, wine, sake and whisky that our staff and regular customers get excited about. If any of that is a...more

Unless you know where to look you will surely miss this place. It is in a basement of an archway. I found out about it from craftbeercapital website that lists major beer joints in town. It has a great vibe for those who like to...More

This is a little out of the way for a tourist but worth taking the time to find. It's downstairs and darkish. Good for "a" beer. Near the Te Papa museum (which is a must). Good friendly laid-back vibe.

A very quirky craft beer bar (as the name indicates). Always has great beer to try, and the customers are friendlier than in many other bars I have tried.

Having heard a number of my friends mention this place, I was curious enough to go with them to see what all the fuss is about. What a destination. Beautiful, well crafted local beer, ambience other places would kill for, and great service. The bar...More

This is a very hipster cool wee spot for an after work beer. Amazing selection of craft beers. The decor is a bit tired and needs a refresh but it's pretty dark so just don't look too closely

This is a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts, with a great selection of craft beers from NZ and around the world. Cozy basement location is a great spot to shelter from the winds and rains of Wellington.
