It's not like they're a lot cheaper, but they are much worse. Everything feels shoddy, cheap. We booked the 1:30pm ferry, which is scheduled to arrive into Picton at 5pm. We arrived at 6pm. There was no announcement about the delay, no apology, nothing. Apparently,...More

The ferry from Wellington to picton is a very simple way to transport yourself from the north island to the South island. It is perfect for the one with car/campervan or just person. The price is okey but it could be cheaper
